David

Threadneedle Prize finalist David Storey is from Workington, West Cumbria. His psychologically-charged paintings are about memories at the point of fading away, with half-recalled people and places emerging from complex layers of texture and colour. Fragments of a narrative that the viewer is invited to complete. He lives and works in Brighton, East Sussex.

David is represented by the Panter and Hall Gallery in London, and the Castlegate House Gallery in Cumbria.
